New York Times sketchbook show

I got asked to participate in a show based on the common theme of sketchbooks. It was at The New York Times. The paint looking ones are kind of the more permanent translation of this spilled sherbert:

Luke Barber-Smith

My friend Luke Barber-Smith always makes work that impresses me. His studio is just down the street from mine and I often find myself taking work breaks over there. Its a good place to do some stretching, listen to some jams, and enjoy the sun. He has a good head on his shoulders, and his outlook on life shows through in the work that he seems to be constantly producing.
